I'm a professional field social worker, I like having knowledge of local community resources and services that I can recommend to people. It's good being on the road and meeting new people and influencing them for the better. I detest the amount of paperwork, it will never save you from being scape goated for the problems of society, the individuals or families you are working with or even the office you're working in. I also have a hard time working with my colleagues because I tend to find they have as many hang ups and issues as some of the public I'm working with.
