Recently separated after 24 years. New to all of this, but I figured with my seemingly very eclectic make up this was the site to find the match for my empty space. The very idea should be one of the basis of a relationship because if one of you thinks the other of you is hugely stupid for one of your core beliefs, how can that be a good thing. That said I don't necessarily want a carbon copy of myself. I am rather a geek, but one that ended up with not totally nonexistent social skills. I am into honesty, to the point of brutality sometimes, geek related items; Star Wars, comics, video games, reading stuff like that. No, I am not a storm trooper armor wearing neck beard guy, but I have entertained the idea of making armor, even from the hobby aspect of it. Nerd gurl preferred, but geek stuff need not be the same. Just the ability to realize how it works. Also like playing guitar, most Metallica kinda stuff (I am nowhere near professional...yet) I am in IT, been doing it 20 years, I can do anything you need with a computer. Like to read about medicine and physics and conspiracy theories and science advancements in my spare time as well as comics and good ole fashioned well written fiction. Like comedy, like writing comedy. MST3k are like gods to me, even have a tattoo. So tattoos are ok, even very much enjoyed. I like horror and sci fi stuff too, have encyclopedic knowledge of 80s slasher films, zombie films. obscure campy fun sci fi movies from the black and white days. Appreciate a well crafted work of art, no matter the medium. Play video games, but like an adult should without the creative use of mason jars. Like to laugh, debate, be tender and be crazy all in equal measures, situational-ally correct of course.
